The Whitewater Recreational Park is a municipal park built in April of 1982, and is located on Highway #23, 1 mile east of Elgin.
The lake is a man made body of water about two miles long and has trout making it a popular fishing destination. Thirty-eight camp sites are equipped with hydro / water (sites 1 - 11) and full service water / sewer (sites 12 - 38), or you can pitch a tent on one of the many un-serviced sites. A campground host is on site to help with any needs.
Kids and adults can enjoy the sandy beach area and fishing dock as well there is kayaks and paddle boards for rent. Disc golf baskets are set up around the park so bring your frisbees!
Washroom facilities are available and are wheelchair accessible.
